time on track went into one too hard on cold tires. Pushed into the
wall.

Andy Jones drove the car.
Qualified second and raced to second in the heat at Rockford Speedway.
Drove to second at Cedar Rapids, Iowa in the feature.

Made midget
and dirt track debut in Norm Schrawtz's car. It made it through a hot lap
session and heat race but wouldn't start for the B-main. Tried to keep up at the
start of the heat race. Got pelted with dirt and almost spun out going
into one. Ended up three laps down in an eight lap race. Drifted a
little bit high coming out of four while being lapped by the leaders-Aaron
Fiscus- one time.

Made FIRA debut. Mediocre performance. Fast cars from
Michigan came down. Got lapped in feature.

Qualified 7th out of 16 at a
14.6 & 14.7. Michigan car broke the track record with a 13.1.
But we were not to far off from the FIRA cars Just fast enough to be on
the outside pole of the fast heat.
Pole sitter almost spun out going into
one. Led the first lap and maybe the second lap. Felt like it was
really sticking in the high groove. Coming out of two one of the Michigan
cars got by. Coming out of four the two "motorcycle" cars sandwiched
me. Had one come by squirly on the inside and I moved high a little bit,
didn't think anyone else was running any higher than I was. Right rear
tagged Steve Lemke's Right front. Did a 360 off the wall front
first. When I opened my eyes I was past the start finish line and pointed
in the correct direction. The car was still running and the caution was
out. Caught back up to the field but the crankshaft broke and the clutch
fell off before the race was over.
